Theme Parks

If you enjoy a day out, or a lot of adrenaline, then theme parks may be for you. Theme parks do not have to mean crazy wild rides, but they can do if you want them to. Many theme parks are designed so that people of various backgrounds and levels of adrenaline can enjoy themselves. Some theme parks are made purely for the enjoyment of adrenaline junkies, but others are made to have fun with the whole family.

I have been to Movie World, Dream World, Wet ‘n’ Wild and White Water world, all in Queensland. I did a theme park a day, and thoroughly enjoyed all of them.

Movie world is a theme park which is designed to replicate the production of movies. This theme park has several extreme rides, as well as 4d cinemas, water rides and various shows. I really enjoyed this theme park, as it’s designed for the whole family to have fun. The superman rollercoaster goes from 0 – 100 kms an hour in under 2 seconds. That is a true adrenaline rush. That was an insane adventure.

Dream world was probably my favorite theme park, because of the adrenaline that I got from it. I love theme parks with rides that are crazy. This theme park has many rides, such as the giant drop, the claw, the tunnel of terror, and it is joined with White Water World; another theme park. The giant drop is a 120 meter drop off a big tower. It takes about 40 seconds to get to the top, and under 5 seconds to get to the bottom. It reaches over 200 kms an hour, and is the best ride I have ever been on.

White water world is another theme park which has waterslides, pools, and combinations of extreme rides and water slides. This was a theme park which I thoroughly enjoyed. There is a water rollercoaster, several big water domes and a wave pool. This theme park is small, cheap to get into but awesome fun. The best part of this theme park was the section for small children. We had lots of fun running around it, even as fully grown men.

Wet ‘n’ Wild was the last theme park which I went to. This theme park is pretty large, but great fun. We particularly enjoyed the kid’s waterslides, where you can race each other and it tells you who comes first. Other rides are similar to White water world, but they are both highly recommended theme parks.

My mum totally hates extreme rides, but she still had a great time at many of the theme parks. There are shows to watch, animals to see, and many more. Theme parks are a great day out, and I would highly advise anyone to check them out. Just ensure the reputation of each theme park is high before you go to it.
